I have been teaching in the West Morris Regional HS District for over 20 years. My teaching experience includes William Paterson University, Kean University, Bloomfield College's Upward Bound Program and the Newark Museum.
I completed my MFA degree program in 2005 and have been making and exhibiting sculpture for over 30 years. I received an MA from Kean University in 1993 and a BFA from Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) in 1984.
My work has been shown throughout the East Coast, most recently in an exhibition at the Orlando Museum of Art in Orlando Florida. I regularly exhibit my work in Manhattan, Brooklyn and on Governors Island. My work has also been exhibited in corporate galleries, art museums and galleries such as the Morris Museum, The Noyes Museum, The Port of History Museum Philadelphia, Hunterdon Art Center, The Gallery at Bristol Meyers Squib, Johnson and Johnson Corporate Gallery and The Shering-Plough Corporate Gallery.
I have been recognized by several major organizations for my work in design, sculpture, and teaching. In 1990, I received a NJ State Council on the Arts Individual Fellowship Grant, in 1998 I received a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Fellowship Grant. I was presented with the Power of Art Award by Robert Rauschenberg in Washington, DC and spent several days with the artist and his staff.
