I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Scranton. After graduating from college, I worked for AT&T in the Information Technology (IT) industry for 13 years. In 2002, I decided to make a career change into teaching and began pursuing a Masters of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I graduated with my M.A.T. degree on May 16, 2005. I was honored to join the Mendham High School Faculty in September 2005.
My Philosophy of Education
My personal vision of teaching is that a teacher is meant to be a responsible and considerate leader who guides students in their journey to gain knowledge and skills. I believe the purpose of the teacher is to help her students develop good character, and educate them on how to become good citizens and workers. I want my students to know that I care about them and the kind of people they are becoming. I will stress good manners in my classroom and strive to lead by example. I will expect them to work cooperatively with each other and to respect each other despite their differences. I will also expect them to work hard and complete their tasks to the best of their ability and promptly, just as they will need to do as adults. I believe all of these things are a necessary part of thriving in the world as successful and happy individuals.

I will be available to provide extra help after school on Tuesdays in room 215.
